tsp
[tsp] means a teaspoon, which is roughly a 5 ml(about 1/6 fl oz) portion.

Mirin
Mirin is a weakly sweet seasoning similar to sake, made from Japanese distilled spirits and rice malt. It used to adding sweetness, shine, and luster to food.
Sake
Sake is an alcoholic beverage made by fermenting and straining rice, rice malt, and water, and is often used in cooking. When sake is used for cooking, cheap sake with weak aroma and sweetness is better.
Deep-fried tofu
Deep-fried tofu is made by cutting tofu into thin slices, draining off the water, and then deep frying in vegetable oil. There are two main types of deep-fried tofu. The thicker type is called 'Atsuage'. and, thinner type is called 'Abura-age'.
1.Cut
Cut deep-fried tofu into 1cm pieces.
2.Cut meat
Cut pork into bite-size pieces.
3.Cut vegetable
Cut dried red pepper into round slices.
4.Cut vegetable
Cut green onions into diagonal slices.
5.Simmer
Put 7 cups (200 ml) of water and Japanese soup stock (granulated) in a pot. Simmer over medium heat until dissolved.
6.Put in
When the Japanese soup stock (granulated) has dissolved,lower the heat and add sake,sugar,soy sauce,mirin,and salt.
7.Simmer
Slowly bring to a simmer over medium heat,stirring constantly.
8.Put in
Add pork.
9.Put in
Add deep-fried tofu.
10.Put in
Add the dried red peppers.
11.Put in
Add curry powder and curry sauce mix.
12.Simmer
Simmer over medium heat,stirring slowly.
13.Put in
Add the green onions and cook over medium heat.
14.Put in
When the vegetables and meat are cooked,lower the heat and add the water-soluble potato starch.
15.Simmer
Put the boiled udon noodles in another pot in a bowl and pour the curry soup over it. Sprinkle with green peas if desired and serve.
