About Ingredients

Mirin

Mirin is a weakly sweet seasoning similar to sake, made from Japanese distilled spirits and rice malt. It used to adding sweetness, shine, and luster to food.

Miso

It's fermented seasoning made by adding salt and rice malt to grains such as soybeans, rice, or wheat. Miso commonly used in Japan is not spicy or strongly sweet, and differs from the miso used in other Asian countries.

Broad bean paste

Broad bean paste is a Sichuan fermented seasoning made by fermenting Broad beans, soybeans, sesame oil, chili peppers, and other ingredients.

How to cook

  • 1.Cut meat

    Cut the meat into bite-size pieces.

  • 2.Make the marinade

    Put miso,sugar,mirin and grated garlic in a bowl and mix well to make marinade sauce.

  • 3.Marinate the meat

    Add the sliced meat,mix well and let it marinate for a while (about 30 minutes).

  • 4.Cut vegetable

    Chop the carrots into small pieces.

  • 5.Cut vegetable

    Chop green bell pepper into small pieces.

  • 6.Cut vegetable

    Slice shiitake mushrooms.

  • 7.Cut vegetable

    Cut green onions into thin rounds.

  • 8.Stir-fry

    Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and stir-fry the meat over medium heat.

  • 9.Stir-fry

    After stir-frying the meat to some extent,add all the cut vegetables and stir-fry,mixing them together.

  • 10.Put in

    Move the stir-fried meat and vegetables to one side of the pan and add the beaten egg in the empty space.
    *If you have a small frying pan,it is easier to move the stir-fried meat and vegetables to another plate.

  • 11.Stir-fry

    Before the eggs are cooked,add all the rice and stir fry.

  • 12.Stir-fry

    Stir the meat,vegetables and rice together and add the broad bean paste. Stir-fry over high heat until the rice is dry.
